Style is an Attitude, Not a Price Tag

Colby Red Outfit Blue Wall

I have always believed that wardrobe styling is a visual art form that can transform so much more than your look for the simple fact that you literally become the art, and you have an active voice in the process and final product. Style is timeless and boldly authentic - it’s about finding the outfit that will inspire your effortless signature walk to come out and play.

I’m often asked how I empower my clients with clothes, and my response is always the same: style isn’t about conforming or compromising yourself, it’s about discovering, creating, and inventing yourself. Why does it matter? Human beings are a highly visual species and we’ve created a culture where your style is akin to an aesthetic business card. Most people you meet will form an opinion about your sense of self, your hygiene habits, your level of education, and whether or not they want to know you approximately seven seconds after first laying eyes on you.

Think that’s terrible? Too bad, that’s the reality of the world we live in. Don’t like it? Then do something about it. Play by the rules, start climbing and don’t stop until you’re the boss. Once you’re the boss, you make the rules. This year, make a commitment to make yourself - body, mind and spirit - a priority. Always remember that self-love isn’t selfish, it’s self-preservation. You can’t bring your one-of-a-kind sparkle to the game if you don’t believe you’re meant to shine
