We’re on Pinterest!
There's no escaping it: we live in a very Pinterest-ing age. The social media giant, which more than 70 million people now use daily to find inspiration for everything from dinner to DIYs, is everywhere -- especially at Goodwill!
Not only do I find some of my favorite DIY materials and "look for less" components at Austin Goodwill, like these pewter goblets for potting succulents (very Pinteresty!), but I also regularly run into the finished results of popular Pinterest DIYs that other people have donated to Goodwill, like this ubiquitous "melted crayon + canvas + hair dryer" Pinterest project, both of which recently appeared at the North Star store.
So, as your resident DIY expert and style maven, it only made sense that my first project after Halloween would be to revamp Austin Goodwill’s profile on Pinterest!
Follow us for all the free inspiration fit to pin, using items from every department in Goodwill stores. We've got everything you need to pull off the perfect Thrifty Thanksgiving, Ugly Sweater Party, or Secondhand Santa soiree, not to mention DIY ideas for all your upcycled holiday gift-giving needs using Goodwill tees & sweaters, glassware, jeans, art, and more.
And we'll be sharing more boards very soon, including glamorous Goodwill holiday fashion, career advice & inspiration for finally finding your dream job by New Year's Resolution time, secondhand White Elephant and Yankee Swap ideas for your office holiday, and other fun stuff, including expert ideas from other Austin area bloggers.
Stay tuned: it’s going to be a resourceful, stylish, and very Goodwill Holiday Season!
