What can you donate in your curbside pickup?
We are proud to partner with Austin Resource Recovery (ARR) to provide their customers with easy curbside pickups for the following items:
- Clothes, shoes (adults and children)
- Accessories and jewelry
- Household items
- Linens, blankets, and pillows
- Denim and fabric scraps
- Wool and yarn
- Books
- Kitchen items
- Small electronics
- Toys and games
- Curtains and rugs
If you are not an Austin Resource Recovery (ARR) customer or would like to schedule a home pickup for larger items, we have partnered with ReSupply to offer home pickups (fees apply).
Curbside Collection Dos and Don’ts
Do
Place all items in boxes, bags, or recyclable containers labeled “GOODWILL.” Please note, the boxes, bags, and recyclable containers will be collected and not returned.
Do
Place items for collection on your curb, porch, or another visible area in front of your home. Let us know if there might be any barriers to entering your property such as gated communities or fences.
Do
Refer to the list of accepted items. Please note, any items we cannot accept will NOT be picked up.
Don’t
Do not set out furniture or large appliances for collection. We cannot accept these items at this time.
Don’t
Do not set out infested items for collection. This service accepts items in all conditions for reuse or recycling, provided they are not infested with bed bugs or other parasites.
Don’t
Do not set out hazardous materials; we cannot collect these items for the safety of our team members.
