March is here, which means it’s festival season and general merriment for ATX!
Whether you’re going to an outdoor concert, spending the day in the park or enjoying some other spring activity, Goodwill can help you create that perfect look while staying comfortable, stylish, and on budget!
The whole outfit is key. Pick something that you can change up from day to night, for an entirely different look, knowing that the evenings are much cooler than our sunny days. Classic colors are perfect for any spring activity—that’s why we started with a pair of classic black jeans and a black and white tank. Stretchy and thin is best for moving around town and you can’t go wrong with a simple, yet stylish pattern.
Now it’s time to accessorize. It’s essential to block out that Texas sun while upping your style game. Add a solid color hat to compliment your patterned top. A lightweight, stylish crossbody bag holds all of your festival needs while keeping your hands free (for tacos, of course).
And most importantly, the shoes! No outfit is complete without them and, in this case, comfort and function are a priority. Think of it more as a road trip, not a catwalk. Check out these sleek, slip-on boots discovered for $12.99, a perfect completion to your outfit and for walking around downtown Austin or attending a fair or festival.
Finally, Texas nights are still chilly in March, so bring along a lightweight denim jacket that you can tie around your waist during the day and throw on at night.
We put this entire outfit together from hat to shoes including some brand-name labels for about $50. These classic pieces will last forever but you can easily create a similar outfit for even less!
Need a networking look? It’s easy to look smart, while still being true to Austin, in funky colors and prints by swapping out a tank top for a fun vintage blouse.
Now that the sun has gone down, add a pair of chandelier earrings, and you’re ready to take on the night. Shop your neighborhood Goodwill to find your Spring style today!
