Skilled trades are in high demand right now, and that demand is only increasing, particularly in Central Texas. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says more workers will be needed in these jobs over the next 10 years. That’s great news for people who choose careers in the skilled trades.
We’ve seen it repeatedly: Many of our graduates find jobs fast after training. Some get hired right away. And these jobs don’t just offer a paycheck. They often come with chances to grow in your career and earn even more money over time. In fact, skilled trade jobs can pay really well, especially as you gain experience.
Another big plus? You don’t need to spend four years in college or take on a bunch of student debt. Skilled trades like HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and more let people start working—and earning—a lot sooner. Some of our graduates have even gone on to start their own businesses. They’re now running crews, leading projects, and building careers they’re proud of.
