March is Women’s History Month, a time to recognize the achievements, leadership, and impact of women throughout time and in our communities today. At Goodwill Central Texas, women play a vital role in advancing our mission. Women at Goodwill lead programs that empower communities and help individuals build brighter futures through education, career services, and opportunity.
This month, we’re celebrating the women who inspire change every day and highlighting several upcoming events where Goodwill leaders are sharing their expertise or fostering skill development across Central Texas.
On March 6, Chief Impact Officer and President of Workforce Advancement Strategy at Goodwill Central Texas, Tamara Atkinson will speak at the Customer Contact Week (CCW) Executive Exchange conference. Tamara will participate in a four-person Leadership Panel titled Alignment at Scale: How Enterprises Actually Democratize AI. This event brings together leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across industries to discuss leadership, community impact, and opportunities for the future.
As a leader at Goodwill Central Texas, Tamara has helped expand programs that support thousands of individuals each year through career training, high school completion, and job placement services. Her participation highlights the important role women leaders play in shaping stronger communities and expanding access to opportunity.

Also on March 6, Goodwill Central Texas will host a Financial Empowerment Workshop at the Cedar Park Public Library from 10:00 AM–11:15 AM.
