Together We Carry More is a collaboration between three Central Texas powerhouses—H-E-B, Goodwill Central Texas, and the Central Texas Food Bank—with one shared goal: to repurpose for good and keep items out of landfills.

How It Works
Giving back is easy! Here’s how you can take part in Together We Carry More:
Put Your Unwanted Items Into Reusable Bags
- Gather any unwanted H-E-B or other reusable bags around your house. Now’s your chance to give them a good home!
- Put the clothes, shoes, home goods, and other items you intend to donate into the bags.
Donate to Goodwill Central Texas
- Drop off your empty or donation-filled reusable bags at any Goodwill Central Texas location.
- Your donations will be resold in 35+ Goodwill retail stores, funding job training, career placement, and education programs for Central Texans.
Support the Central Texas Food Bank
- The reusable bags you donate don’t go to waste! Goodwill Central Texas will deliver them to the Central Texas Food Bank, where they will be used to distribute groceries to families in need.
- Your donations help fight hunger and build a more sustainable future.

Founded in 1905, H-E-B has grown into one of the largest privately held grocery chains in the U.S., with over 400 locations across Texas. Central Texas Food Bank
The Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB) is the leading hunger-relief nonprofit in Central Texas, working to provide immediate and equitable access to nutritious food for individuals across its 21-county service area. Through a combination of direct-service programs and a network of approximately 240 nonprofit community partners, CTFB supports over 530,000 food-insecure individuals annually.
