The 13th Annual Heroes Appreciation BBQ

Members of our Goodwill B.R.A.V.E. (Bringing Recognition and Assistance to Veteran Employees) Employee Resource Group will be representing Goodwill Central Texas at the 13th Annual Heroes Appreciation BBQ in Georgetown on May 24th!

The Heroes Resource Center hosts an appreciation BBQ each year on the Saturday before Memorial Day. This event is designed to bring together Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, First Responders, and their families for a day of connection and enjoyment. It’s an opportunity to appreciate the resilience and camaraderie of those who serve, ahead of the solemn observance of Memorial Day itself. By hosting one of the largest free military appreciation BBQs in Central Texas, we offer a day of relaxation, activities, and the chance for attendees to connect with local businesses and non-profits committed to supporting our service community, all at no cost to our Heroes.
