Goodwill Central Texas Welcomes New Head of Technology, Adding Another Female Powerhouse to Executive Team
AUSTIN, Texas– Goodwill Central Texas announces that Tracy Briscoe will join its executive team this fall to serve as the new Senior Vice President of Information Technology. Effective Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Briscoe will assume the role and take over the organization’s growing tech initiatives to advance the retail operations and the organization’s mission to transform lives through the power of education and work.
“Briscoe’s leadership within the Senior Executive Group will be instrumental as we continue building operational excellence and ensuring that Goodwill Central Texas remains a thriving, growing organization in an ever-changing landscape,” said Rob Neville, CEO of Goodwill Central Texas.
Briscoe brings extensive experience in technology, including 22 years at Whole Foods, where she advanced from Senior Developer to Vice President of Technology—and ultimately to Vice President of Transformation. She has a strong background in technology leadership, strategic planning, IT systems, EOS/Traction, software engineering, and business transformation.
In her new role, Briscoe will oversee all aspects of IT operations and partner with leaders across our organization to deliver integrated, scalable solutions that advance our mission and strengthen operations—her signature superpower. For example, Briscoe and her team will focus on providing technology that makes the client journey simple and seamless so every person who comes to Goodwill can easily access our services and future opportunities.
A recognized thought leader, Briscoe will champion the development of an AI strategy for the organization and explore innovative tools to scale more effectively and serve the community better. One of the most notable tools is the organization’s cutting-edge AI-pricing pilot program. Goodwill Central Texas is leading the way in AI pricing technology for Goodwill retail stores across the country. The pricing pilot is an open platform currently available to all Goodwills nationwide.
Neville went on to say, “we look forward to the expertise, vision, and collaborative spirit she brings to our organization. This appointment reflects Goodwill Central Texas’ ongoing momentum in attracting seasoned leaders who share our vision and commitment to transforming lives through the power of education and work. Each addition to our team strengthens our ability to drive innovation and deepen our impact in the community.”
