How Can I Help Support Veterans as a Civilian?

Help veterans all year long by supporting, amplifying, and championing veterans’ rights and causes. You can also donate to organizations, like Goodwill, that support vets. Your generous contributions enable us to provide the services we offer at no cost to veterans.

A few other ways you can help support veterans include:

  • Arrange outings with vets to fun events.
  • Host or attend a fundraising event for veterans.
  • Offer to help veterans with errands, grocery shopping, and other chores.
  • If you own or manage a business, make a concerted effort to hire veterans.
  • If you know a vet who doesn’t drive, offer to take them to their appointments.
  • Volunteer at a Veterans Affairs (VA) facility, the National Veterans Foundation, or other organizations that support vets.

Once again, Happy Veterans Day to all veterans and their families! Thank you for your service.
